North America's fastest-growing tech conference, Collision, will again be held in Toronto, the largest city in Canada and one of the world's top innovation and technology hubs. After a successful run in 2019, 2022, and 2023, the event draws thousands of visitors from over 140 countries. It will return to the Enercare Center at Exhibition Place in June 2024.

Hundreds of startups, investors, journalists, and some of the biggest names in tech, business, media, and politics are all present at the four-day Collision conference. The conference will cover artificial intelligence, data science, cybersecurity, fintech, e-commerce, social media, and more. It will also feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, workshops, networking events, and exhibitions.

The conference also highlights Toronto's diverse talent pool, thriving tech ecosystem, and cultural, culinary, and lifestyle offerings. Toronto is home to more than 18,000 tech companies, employing over 400,000 people and generating $52 billion in annual revenue. With top-notch universities and organizations like the University of Toronto, Ryerson University, and MaRS Discovery District, the city is also a leader in research and development.

The City of Toronto, Destination Toronto, and Exhibition Place, in collaboration with Web Summit, the organization responsible for Collision and other major international tech events, announced the decision to extend Collision's stay in Toronto. Local tech leaders, business owners, and government representatives applauded Collision for its positive effects on the city's economy, reputation, and innovation and welcomed the announcement.

"Collision is more than just a tech conference. It's a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and diversity that showcases Toronto's strengths as a global city and a tech powerhouse. We are thrilled to welcome back Collision for another year and to continue our partnership with Web Summit and Exhibition Place," said Mayor John Tory.

"Collision has been a game-changer for Toronto's tech sector and for our city as a whole. It has helped us attract international attention, investment, and talent, as well as foster new connections and opportunities within our local community. We are excited to host Collision again in 2024 and to offer our visitors an unforgettable experience of Toronto's culture and hospitality," said Scott Beck, President and CEO of Destination Toronto.

"Collision is one of the world's most prestigious tech events, and we are proud to be its home for another year. The Enercare Center is an ideal venue for Collision with its state-of-the-art facilities, spacious layout, and convenient location. We look forward to working with Web Summit and our partners to deliver a safe, successful, and memorable event for all attendees," said Don Boyle, CEO of Exhibition Place.
